These are cards for my one regular customer! I explained about her in the early post I did today.

This is a 5 X 7 card.  I made the envelope with double sided scrapbook paper. She wanted an extra special card for her husbands birthday.  They have been married over 60 years!

Birthday card

I made these cards for a lady who buys cards from me.  I would like two or three more regular customers to make cards for on a regular basis.  She buys 5-8 cards form me each month for the birthdays she has for the month.  She usually calls me the last week of the month before so I can deliver them in plenty of time so she can mail them.  She lives locally so I just deliver them to her in person.  She is older and likes the company and I like the compliments when she looks at them!

This is an anniversary card for her son and his wife.

I have taken the time to put nice sayings on the insides but I didn't photo the insides this time.  I am enjoying using the stamps and embossing plates I have been collecting over several years now.  Also I have a lot of paper so I could stay very busy making cards for a very long time.  I hand paint most of the fronts of the cards with water color.  I really love to do water color but using stamps first on water color paper has been a creative venture for me and I feel they turn out a little better than by hand when I am only doing 3 X 4 pieces of water color paper.

Cards

I have been sharing some of the cards I have made on Facebook and decided I should start blogging and posting my cards on my blogs. Above is my latest card thanks to another Stampin' up demonstrator for her inspiration. I signed up to be a stampin up demonstrator last month... Woops! I think that was a mistake. I decided to have a card open house to let people in my area know that I was intending to sell Stampin Up projects. So I invited everyone I had email addresses for who lived in Eugene. No one showed up. I set it up for 12-4 so people that worked could drop by on their lunch hour. It did discourage me but made me think. I intend to make cards, if there are others that want to learn from me I would be happy to teach but it is sort of a let down to plan something work hard and then not even one person comes. I would have been happy if just one person had come. So I am going to continue to make cards and I will start posting them more on my blog and soon I will set up a few in my etsy store. When I get this blog looking decent then maybe I will link it to ETSY and Facebook so maybe someone might be interested in seeing my work. I do love all the stamps I got from Stampin up and will probably get some more but I am not a Sales Person and I know that. I consider my self more of an artist and just want to make and create beautiful things!
